The Japandi Kitchen
The Japandi Kitchen
From 16m2 to 55m2, together with Greenfield Projects we took this small kitchen into the most amazing kitchen diner. This project was inspired by a hybrid of Scandi minimalism and Japanese textures and tones (Japandi). We wanted this kitchen to be minimal without feeling cold. Using tactile materials, such as textured wood and recycled aggregates to add comfort and warmth.
We utilised some “dead space” by forming a bespoke unit to create a cosy space for the kids, an entertainment space for the grown-ups and of course storage for the whole family. I think it’s time to invite some friends over, make a G&T and get The Project at Home Dusk playlist on!
